1977 terminó como uno de los años más estresantes para Queen, realizando una gira por Europa una vez y dos por Norteamérica. Quizás sea un calendario agonizante, pero los dos conciertos incluidos aquí (2 de marzo en Inglewood y 20 de diciembre en Long Beach) ciertamente indican lo contrario.
Un grupo de estadio en toda regla, la banda cautiva a la audiencia estadounidense con un espectacular setlist con el que sus canciones brillan como nunca. Dos giras diferentes, dos sets diferentes pero ambos sacados directamente de las cintas máster californianas. Éxtasis en verdad.

1977 ended up as one of busiest years for Queen, touring europe once and north america twice. An agonizing schedule perhaps but the two shows included here (march 2 inglewood & december 20 long beach) certainly don’t tell.
A full blown arena-band by now, the band captivates the american audience with well-paced set lists which give their broad range of material all chances to shine.
Two different tours, two different sets but both straight from the californian mastertapes. Ecstasy indeed.
