Originalmente lanzado en vinilo negro de 180g como parte de la Diamonds And Pearls Super Deluxe Edition en 2022, esta edición exclusiva para RSD aparecerá en vinilo amarillo de 140g en 3LP.
Grabado el 11 de enero de 1992, antes de la gira de Diamonds And Pearls de Prince y The New Power Generation, que comenzó en abril, este show fue grabado en el club Glam Slam de Prince en Minneapolis. Con 14 canciones que superan los 100 minutos, la lista de canciones se enfoca principalmente en el material que Prince y su nueva banda acababan de lanzar e incluso incluye el aún no lanzado Sexy M.F..

Broken out from the Grammy-nominated Diamonds And Pearls Super Deluxe Edition as a stand-alone piece for the first time as a Record Store Day exclusive, this 3xLP set comprises a complete concert performance from Prince & The NPG, previewing the Diamonds And Pearls Tour at Prince’s small Minneapolis club, Glam Slam, in January 1992.
Mixed from the 24-track master, the performance clocks in at just over 100 minutes of sweaty, groove-laden brilliance led by the one and only Prince, capturing the sheer joy and sense of endless possibility that came to define this era.
Housed in a gorgeous triple gatefold, the three LPs on yellow 140g vinyl contain five sides of music and an etching of the cover of Diamonds And Pearls on side 6.
