El mejor Blues eléctrico al estilo Chicago, que significó la explosiva irrupción del genial guitarrista Mike Bloomfield.
ENGLISH
The Paul Butterfield Blues Band is regarded in rock circles as the epitome of mid-60s electric Chicago blues. Their place in music history is secured by the fact that they inspired the American blues-rock movement of the late 60s.
Butterfield's band played numerous gigs in and around Chicago before touring nationally. In 1965, they recorded their debut album The Paul Butterfield Blues Band for the Elektra label. As the band was racially mixed, it appealed to both black and white audiences. The Butterfield Blues Band brought the blues to the attention of white audiences, just as the original Dixieland Jazz Band had brought jazz to the attention of white audiences decades earlier.
