Se grabó en los estudios Rockfield de Gales. Robert Smith ha creado el concepto de la portada y Andy Vella, un colaborado de siempre de The Cure se ha encargado de los artes y la gráfica. En la portada aparece “Bagatelle” una escultura de Janez Pirnat de 1975.

Songs of a Lost World is the long awaited new album from The Cure, their 14th studio release and the first in 16 years.
The album was written and arranged by Robert Smith and produced by Smith and Paul Corkett. The band is Robert Smith, Simon Gallup (bass), Jason Cooper (drums), Roger O’Donnell (keyboards) and Reeves Gabrels (guitar). You can preview ‘Alone’ from Songs of a Lost World, below.
