Versión alternativa del segundo álbum de estudio de Robert Hunter, letrista de Grateful Dead, Tiger Rose, para celebrar su 50 aniversario. Originalmente lanzado en marzo de
1975, Tiger Rose fue producido por Jerry Garcia e incluye contribuciones de Garcia, Mickey Hart y Donna Jean Godchaux. Con una nueva portada, Tiger Rose Rarities incluye versiones alternativas de los temas destacados "One Thing To Try" y "Tiger Rose", junto con la canción "Talkin' Money Tree Blues", que fue grabada junto con el álbum y lanzada en 1975 en el single Sampler For Dead Heads de 7 pulgadas.
