Por primera vez en formato picture disc, Beggars Arkive reedita el icónico segundo sencillo de The Charlatans, "The Only One I Know", recientemente remasterizado en Abbey Road Studios por Frank Arkwright.
 
Lanzado originalmente en 1990, el tema se convirtió en el sencillo con mayor éxito en las listas de éxitos del Reino Unido de su influyente álbum debut, Some Friendly.
 
La canción se inspira en la historia de la música, incorporando versos extraídos directamente del tema "Everybody's Been Burned" de The Byrds (1967) y presentando un distintivo riff de órgano inspirado en la versión de "Hush" de Deep Purple.

For the first time on picture disc, Beggars Arkive is reissuing The Charlatans’ iconic second single, “The Only One I Know,” newly remastered at Abbey Road Studios by Frank Arkwright. Originally released in 1990, the track became the highest-charting single in the UK from their seminal debut album, Some Friendly.

The song draws inspiration from music history, incorporating lines directly lifted from The Byrds' 1967 track “Everybody's Been Burned” and featuring a distinctive organ riff inspired by Deep Purple’s rendition of “Hush.”
